About Beccy
Beccy grew up on the family farm in the heart of Gloucestershire near Newent, helping her father. From an early age she realised her passion lay in food creation and exactly where ingredients came from.
After school Beccy began to follow her life -
Beccy has since worked in prestigious hotels with two AA Rosette restaurants, cooking alongside other talented chefs for many of the rich and famous, including Marco Pierre White and Ronnie Corbit.
With eleven years in the hospitality and catering industry under her belt, Beccy progressed further with her career and branched out on her own. In 2011, Cake Aspirations was created in Beccy's cottage kitchen in Upton Bishop, in Herefordshire.
Specialising in her true passion of cakes, sugar art and confectionary, Beccy has pushed the business forward, selling her cakes and handmade confectionary direct to her clients and attending local events and markets. You will see Cake Aspirations at local attractions such as Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, selling her hand made fudge where she has built up a loyal customer base who are keen to see the new flavours and ideas Beccy has come up with. It is this repeat custom and local recommendations from her original customers which Beccy believes is key to her success.
2012 saw a high point of recognition for Beccy, winning a Diamond Award with Heart Of England Fine Foods for her vanilla fudge (her best seller to date!).
In 2013 Beccy expanded her business to a purpose -
The expansion means Beccy and her small team can take on more cake orders, attend more local shows and in the very near future, will have an online shop where sugar craft classes, cakes and fudge will be available! Exciting times!
