Traditional cakes

Classic Victoria - A light vanilla sponge, an old English favourite

Zingy lemon drizzle - A light lemon sponge with a tart lemon syrup drizzled over the top

Classic carrot - A moist cake with subtle spice tones with roasted pecans for extra depth

Traditional rich fruit cake - A moist pudding - like cake filled with juicy fruits soaked in French brandy

Light fruit cake - A lighter version in texture and in colour to above with more juicy cherries

Coffee and walnut - A light coffee sponge with roasted walnuts

Belgian chocolate truffle cake - A mouth watering rich cake, truffle - like in texture a chocolate lover’s dream!

Coconut cake - A fluffy texture with a subtle coconut flavour. Great with a coconut butter cream

Madeira - A slightly denser texture to the Victoria with hints of lemon and orange

Toffee and pecan - A light sponge flavoured with homemade toffee with roasted pecans folded into the mix at the end, to give it an extra special flavour and some texture

Banana and dark chocolate - The balance between the bananas and chocolate is delicious, moist in texture but not too rich

Apple, pear and cinnamon - Caramelised apples and pears with a hint of cinnamon great with vanilla butter cream

Almond sponge - A light sponge with a marzipan flavour delicious with vanilla butter cream and morello cherry jam or apricot jam!

Dark Chocolate and Guinness - Moist without being overly rich or heavy, a new idea in the texture of chocolate cakes.

Please note we can create a flavour to suit your needs. If  there is a particular flavour you have in mind we shall do our utmost to accommodate. A lot of the above cakes can be converted into gluten - free or dairy - free upon request.We do have seasonal flavours throughout the year using fruits straight from the farm, please ask what is available.

We can accommodate orders with intolerances but inform that our kitchen uses nuts on a regular basis. We pride ourselves on our five star hygiene rating but CAN NOT guarantee there are NO nut traces.
